The BoxGod got his popular moniker while showcasing his designs at SneakerCon in 2017
When approached by an an avid follower of his work, he was dubbed "the BoxGod". Streetwear inspiration combined with his passion for luxury trunk making sparked the creation of the innovative designs. The BoxGod brings the traditional French approach to trunk-making and applies a modern twist through his dynamic creations.
Meet our founder
Jonathan, a.k.a. the BoxGod, is an entrepreneur based In California. While working in banking, he found himself enamored with sneakers and streetstyle culture. He began designing and creating shoe boxes, and overtime this passion became a full-time venture. After being recognized by the alias of "the BoxGod" at Sneakercon, he knew he was onto something.
His love for sneakers evolved into a passion for up cycling shoeboxes for himself, to protect and cherish his sneaker collection. However, his desire to create didn't stop there. Beyond his fascination with sneakers, was a love for timeless and classic styles inspired by traditional American designers. In an effort to learn and build upon his curiosity, he spent his time working in luxury retail. Thus came his desire to create elevated box and trunk designs that had never been done before.
